We had an awesome night for our special TAPP Movie Social screening of Mastering Pinball! Huge thanks to Abe Flips for working with us and allowing this one-off event to happen — we absolutely couldn’t have done it without him. The film was fantastic, packed with insights, and everyone left buzzing with new skills and techniques to try. No doubt this will help lift the competitive pinball standard across Tasmania!

Before the movie, we met at The Winston for dinner, drinks, and a series of fun warm-up challenges. Each challenge winner earned a $20 State Cinema gift card to spend on drinks and snacks at the movies.
🦈 Jaws: The Revenge – Highest Score
Wes played this one for over 30 minutes after forgetting to press the action button at the start… giving himself what was essentially infinite ball save! But hey — the extended “practice session” paid off, and he claimed the prize with a score of 90k+.
🐵 Split-Flipper King Kong
Tom and Lily were unstoppable, teaming up for nearly 200 million to take the win.
🖐️ One-Handed Scared Stiff
Tom claimed this one too, putting up around 5.1M with just a single hand.
🦖 New GC on Godzilla
This one went unclaimed — nobody managed to hit the target score on the night, so no prize was awarded. But don’t worry, the prize may return at a future event…
🎯 Blind GoldenEye
Royal absolutely crushed this with 200M+, despite part of the playfield being covered.
